A collaboration between Sasha Botanica & Dan de Lion of Return to Nature, this Winter Herbal Package is a seasonal bundle of handcrafted, foraged herbal products to embrace the energetics of winter.
In exploring the local landscape we foraged & grew each plant that went into our crafts. Being able to create each of these items is a living prayer that we can offer you - the depth of this connection to nature, as our growing community-supported herbalism effort. This ensures that your donations sustain our capacity to continue crafting from the seasonal landscape for you.
Birch Tallow Body Butter
This nourishing body butter is wonderful for dry winter skin. Absorbs well and does not leave you feeling greasy. Make your skin supple and delicious enough for Baba Yaga to eat!
Ingredients: Wildcrafted Birch infused local tallow, organic almond oil, shea butter and wintergreen essential oil.
Respiratory Support Tincture
This tincture was made with sustainably wildcrafted Usnea, Elder Berry and Flower (Sambucus sp.), Mountain Mint (Pycanthemum virginianum), Violet (Viola sp.), Cleavers (Galium aparine), Horehound (Marrubium vulgare), Organic Alcohol and Spring Water.
Baba Yaga Charcoal Pine Soap
This soap smells like the depths of the forest where the mighty Baba Yaga lives - a bit of pine, a bit of smoke, with just a hint of sweet.
Ingredients: Pine Hydrosol (locally foraged and distilled), Charcoal (made by Sasha), Black Walnut Powder (locally foraged), Pine Tar, Pine Essential Oil, Sweet Almond & Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide
Winter Warmth Fire Tonic
Ingredients: Ginger, Turmeric, Spicebush (Lindera benzoin), Orange Peel and a touch of Cayenne infused in 50% Organic Alcohol and Apple Cider Vinegar.
St. Johns Wort Warming Herbal Body Oil
St. Johns Wort flowers were picked around the summer solstice and infused in oil. With some added fresh ginger and Cinnamon Leaf essential oil, this warming body oil is lovely to massage into aches and pains these long winter months.
