As the days grow shorter and the year draws to a close, join Sasha Botanica and Diana Wassef at Mabel’s Rest in Napanoch, NY for an afternoon of creativity, reflection, and connection. Rooted in the rhythms of nature and the cycles of the feminine, this gathering offers an opportunity to slow down, decompress, and reconnect with ourselves and one another.

Through Sculpting the Sacred, Sasha will guide participants in working with clay to create their own goddess figurine. This hands-on practice explores the relationship between our bodies, creativity, and the forms we bring into being. Each figurine becomes a personal expression of the sacred feminine, shaped by our own hands and imagination.

This gathering is open to women of all ages and every season of life, whether you’re bleeding, in perimenopause, or moving through menopause and beyond.

Diana will facilitate conversations around the cycles of womanhood, the changing seasons of our lives, and the ways we experience creation, transformation, and renewal. Together, we will reflect on the importance of honoring both our creative energy and our need for rest.

Throughout the afternoon, participants are welcome to enjoy the warmth of a Finnish sauna, offering space to unwind and restore.

As we approach the holiday season, this gathering also offers the opportunity to create a meaningful handmade gift. Your goddess figurine can be kept as a personal symbol or gifted to a sister, friend, mother, or loved one as an expression of care and connection.

Each figurine will be sculpted from clay and fired at a later date, allowing your creation to become a lasting keepsake or meaningful gift. Finished pieces will be available for collection after firing.

Come spend an afternoon away from the demands of everyday life, working with your hands, sharing conversation, and enjoying the simple pleasure of being together.

No prior sculpting experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.

Learn the foundations of cross stitch in this beginner-friendly workshop. You’ll be guided through the basics of cross stitching and how to design your own patterns.

Rooted in folk handcraft traditions, this workshop approaches stitching as both a practical skill and a meaningful, embodied process. For generations, these techniques supported daily life—used to mend, reinforce, and embellish cloth so it could be used and loved longer. Knowledge moved hand to hand, often shared in spaces where people gathered to work alongside one another, exchanging stories.

All materials are provided. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how to cross stitch, and the skills to begin designing your own patterns at home.
