Join us on February 1st in High Falls, NY for an Imbolc gathering honoring the return of the light. Imbolc traditionally marks a seasonal turning point, when winter begins to shift and we start looking toward the coming growing season.
Dan de Lion of Return to Nature (www.returntonature.us) will lead a winter foraging and herbalism walk on the land, where among exploring plants, trees and mushrooms, we will be gathering pine to make a warming pine needle tea over the fire, and use that tea to prepare an Imbolc mead together.
Sasha will guide the making of Brigid’s Crosses using willow grown on the property, a traditional symbol of protection and renewal.
Please bring a candle with you to light at the end of the gathering.
High Falls, NY
Sunday Feb 1st from 2pm-5pm
Sliding Scale: $35-$65
