Join us for the 3rd Annual Ukrainian Community Day at The Ashokan Center for an afternoon celebrating Ukrainian culture with live music, speakers, nature explorations, canoeing, and more!

Enjoy a day of celebrating Ukrainian culture in the Hudson Valley at the Ashokan Center with live musical performances, food and craft vendors, guided nature explorations, and more!

The day will be filled with a diverse lineup of Ukrainian music, Ukrainian folk medicine plant walks, dance instructions, hands-on workshops showcasing Ukrainian potters, wool spinning, and weaving artists. We will also have canoeing, crafts, and an instrument petting zoo.

50% of all proceeds will be donated to Ukrainian-American Youth Association of the Hudson Valley. The support for Ukrainian American Youth Association’s (UAYA) efforts to aid children and hospitals in Ukraine is incredibly important, especially given the current challenges the country faces.

According to the Ukrainian American Youth Association of the Hudson Valley, there are around 500,000 Ukrainians in New York, with many calling the Hudson Valley home. In the Hudson Valley alone, there are over 3,000 refugees who fled the country, leaving all their loved ones behind and families torn apart.
