Traditional Skincare – Crafting with Tallow

Before petroleum-based lotions and synthetic stabilizers, our ancestors crafted deeply nourishing skincare from whole, natural ingredients. Tallow—rich in skin-loving fats—was a staple in traditional ointments, healing balms, and soap-making. Join us to reconnect with time-honored skincare traditions and create your own 2oz Herbal Tallow Balm and a bar of Chamomile Tallow Soap to take home.

In this hands-on workshop we’ll explore:

-How to render and purify tallow for a smooth, odorless balm

-The basics of tallow soap making

- How to bend tallow with infused oils for a deeply nourishing, custom balm
