Seasonal Herbal Mentorship
Join Sasha Botanica and Dan de Lion of Return to Nature for a hands-on herbal mentorship that follows the rhythm of the growing season. This mentorship is designed to help you build a practical, working relationship with medicinal plants through direct experience, observation, and making.
We will gather for four sessions throughout the growing season—spring, early summer, late summer, and autumn. By the end of the season, you will have a solid foundation in herbal medicine, a deeper understanding of the body and the skills to begin creating your own home apothecary.
Attend individual sessions or join for the full growing season!

Spring Session: April 17-19
In early spring, many of the plants returning at this time of year are traditionally worked with to support the body’s natural cleansing, helping to stimulate movement, clear stagnation, and support detoxification after winter. In this session we will focus on the lymphatic and urinary systems, as well as blood cleansing and the cardiovascular system.
Throughout the weekend we’ll cover how these body systems are related to the season, and how the herbs growing at this time help to support those processes. We will learn how to sit with and observe plants using constitutional awareness/analysis and intuition as well as learning how to identify plants with a field guide.
We’ll also share aspects of honorable harvest and teach practical ways to process, dry, and store plants. The weekend is designed to give you the skills and experience to continue this work at home - creating your own remedies, infusing vinegars, journaling your observations, and practicing plant identification so that the connection you build with these springtime herbs continues to grow throughout the season.
