Honoring Samhain Gathering
Saturday, October 25th | 2 PM - 5 PM
High Falls, NY
As Samhain draws closer, join us for an afternoon of community, plants, and shared stories. This gathering is a casual, welcoming space to celebrate the turning of the year, connect with one another, and share personal experiences with mugwort—an herb long valued for its grounding, protective, and dream-tending qualities.
We’ll begin with group Qigong led by Emily Morrison, LAc, MAOM, to root body and spirit in seasonal flow. Emily will also offer optional moxibustion—a traditional practice using warming mugwort on the body to gently move qi, ease stagnation, and invite balance.
Sasha will provide an autumnal herbal tea and a mugwort-infused baked good, then guide participants in making a simple dream talisman to carry the season’s essence forward. We’ll close the gathering with Dan de Lion of Return to Nature, sharing mugwort tea by the fire and exploring its role as a plant ally for intuition, dreaming, and seasonal reflection.
