Goldenrod Workshop: Color, Medicine & Season’s Turning

As the days grow cooler and the golden hues of autumn unfold, we turn to the seasonal medicine of Goldenrod—a plant of resilience, warmth, and abundance. In this hands-on workshop, we will gather with this bright late-summer ally to explore its medicine, color

Together, we’ll create a communal dye bath, infusing cloth with the luminous yellow of goldenrod, a living reminder of sunlight carried into the darker months. Alongside this, we’ll prepare a goldenrod-inspired remedy or elixir to support wellness as we move into autumn.

There will be space to wander the fields of Heartsong Sanctuary, sit with the plants, and reflect on the turning of the wheel of the year. We’ll gather around the fire to sip a warming herbal tea and share goldenrod honey cakes.
