4 Season Herbal Mentorship
Join Sasha Botanica and Dan de Lion of Return to Nature for a 4 Season Herbal Mentorship - a seasonal program that builds both practical herbalism skills and an intuitive relationship with plants and the land.
Attend individual sessions or join for the full year!
Spring: April 17–19
Early Summer: June 5–7
Late Summer: July 31–August 2
Autumn: October 2–4
This mentorship moves through the year in four seasonal phases. Spring focuses on wildcrafting basics, plant identification, and building a foundational connection to the land through early harvests and simple preparations like herbal salts, floral honeys, and tonic vinegars. Early summer shifts to peak-season harvesting, drying and storing for long-term use, preparing infused oils, and deepening sensory and intuitive plant awareness — with time spent cooking wild foods over fire. Late summer centers on harvesting herbs and berries at peak potency while refining preservation skills, exploring hydrosols, and beginning to plan for winter apothecary needs. Autumn turns toward preparation: tincturing fresh plants and crafting herbal blends to carry you, your family and friends through the coming winter. We’ll focus on stocking the apothecary with remedies for the cold months ahead, including winter skincare and nourishing herbal formulas
Each session is held entirely outdoors over the full weekend, so please come prepared with appropriate gear for all weather conditions. Basic amenities are available on site, including an outdoor shower and compost toilets. Come ready to be outside and in the elements for the duration of the weekend.
