DIY Kid-Friendly Bath Bomb Recipe

In case you are stuck at home with a bunch of rowdy kiddos, I wanted to post a fun & easy Bath Bomb recipe you all might enjoy making✨ 🎨Some natural ways to color your bath bombs could be: spirulina powder for green, instant coffee or cocoa powder for browns/tans, beets or mashed berries for pinks/purples and turmeric for yellow! Simple Bath Bomb Recipe: -1 cup Baking Soda -1/2 cup Citric Acid -3 Tablespoon Corn Starch or Arrow Root Powder -1 Tablespoon carrier oil (olive, almond, whatever you have at home) -10 drops essential oils (Kid-Friendly Essential Oils: Lavender, Chamomile, Spearmint, Sweet Orange, Neroli ) -A spray bottle with water or witch hazel Directions: 1.) Add all 3 powders together and mix 2.) Add your essential oils to your carrier oil and stir 3.) Slowly add the oil into the powder mix with a spoon or your hands and mix WELL! 4.) Use your spray bottle to moisten the mixture, it should end up looking and feeling like sand. The spray helps to slowly moisten everything, without fizzing - if you add water right to the mixture, it will fizz and we dont want that yet! 5.) put your mixture into a container like a cupcake tin, ice cube tray or plastic Easter eggs. Pack it gently and let it sit overnight until hardened. . . #bathbomb #kidfriendly #bathtime #essentialoils #washyourhands #naturalcolor #naturaldye #holisticlifestyle #holistichealth #selfcare
